Biased Media: Who would've thunk it
Now this is pretty surprising...oh wait did I write surprising, I meant to write validating (if that is even a word, if not it should be).
Even though the article is about the US media, I would hazard a guess that it isn't much different in Canada.

A word search is the probably one of the most questionable metrics possible to use in a “scientific study.” Social science types of studies only reach the conclusions that the “researchers” were trying to get in the first place.
Whether the media is biased or not, our intelligence shouldn’t be insulted by the UCLA folks with such drivel disguised as a study.
A Decima poll conducted in conjunction with the Carleton University School of Journalism found that 40% of respondents believed that most journalists covering the election want the Liberals to win. Interesting, no?
You want to read an interesting article, check out Don Martin's article last week in the Ottaw Citizen in how the reason the media is biased towards the Liberals is that governments always have an advantage because they can "leak" policy, while all the opposition can do is put forward what they would do.
At least there's Kevin Neuman and Global National. Its refreshing. Remember the days when the National Post was actually conservative? When Conrad B started it, I felt refreshed to read it every day.
Lately, to get that same refreshing (thats 3 times in one comment) feeling I have to resort to reading liberals such as Kinsella and Wells.
